چکیده

INTRODUCTION: The hierarchy of stromal progenitors from the bone marrow is poorly characterized; multipotent mesenchymal cells and colony-forming units fibroblasts are isolated in culture. Mesenchymal stem do not have a unique combination surface antigens, making it difficult to obtain pure population. expression nestin gene often used as marker these cells.
AIM: To evaluate level characterize change its during transition oligopotent progenitor monopotent ones.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Stromal were analyzed samples 19 donors by standard methods. A total 296 individual clones fibroblast obtained same samples. for ability differentiate toward adipogenic osteogenic lineages. Relative was all RESULTS: Mean relative did differ significantly (0.410.13) population (0.240.05). In fibroblasts, higher than (0.310.04). When analyzing differing their differentiation potential, highest found group progenitors, while lower progenitors.
CONCLUSION: Nestin specific cannot be this cell type. According our data, high rather identifies progenitors.

Differentiation Potential of Nestin (+) and Nestin (-) Cells Derived from Human Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells into Functional Insulin Producing Cells

The feasibility of isolating and manipulating mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from human patients provides hope for curing numerous disease and disorders. Recent phenotypic analysis showed heterogeneity of MSCs. A nestin progenitor cell is a subpopulation within MSCs which plays a role in pancreas regeneration during embryogenesis. This study aimed to separate nestin (+) cells from human bone mar...

CFU-GM Like Colonies Derived from Embryonic Stem Cells Cultured on the Bone Marrow Stromal Cells

The aim of this study was to isolate mouse embryonic stem cells from late blastocyst stage embryos and to use them as a model system for the study of hematopoietic induction outside the embryo by coculturing of embryonic stem cells with bone marrow stromal cells. Blastocyst stage embryos from pregnant NMRI mice were obtained and cultured for 1-2 days in DMEM medium. The inner cell masses formed...

Bone marrow stromal cells and their application in neural injuries

Background: This article reviews experimental and clinical studies in which neural injuries repaired with bone marrow stromal cells. History: Bone marrow contains two kinds of stem cells: hematopoietic and nonhematopoietic (stromal) stem cell. In vitro studies indicate that bone marrow stromal cells have the capacity of differentiation into other cells (such as neural cell) under treatment wit...

CD4 Expression by erythroid precursor cells in human bone marrow.

Flow cytometry was used to assess CD4 expression in 62 consecutive bone marrow specimens from patients with a variety of clinical conditions. Using a lysed-whole-blood technique for labeling with monoclonal antibodies, two populations of CD4+ cells were identified within the lymphocyte/blast-cell fraction in 58 (94%) of these specimens. These consisted of (1) a population of T helper cells with...

Human wild-type superoxide dismutase 1 gene delivery to rat bone marrow stromal cells: its importance and potential future trends

Objective(s): Human superoxide dismutase 1 (SOD1) is the cytosolic form of this enzyme it detoxifies superoxide anions and attenuates their toxicities and concomitant detrimental effects on the cells. It is believed that the amount of these enzymes present in the oxidative stress-induced diseases is crucial for preventing disease progression. Transfection of rat bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs...
